As the herb growing begins to slow up during the autumn, we keep ourselves busy by pressing apple juice. The apples for juicing are carefully selected from small orchards around West Somerset.  Only the best apples are selected, washed, pressed and gently pasteurised to make the following spectacularly delicious range of apple juices.

This year we entered two products (Spiced Somerset Chaider and Beautifully Beetrooty apple juice) into Taste of the West awards.  Chaider won the 2017 gold award for hot drinks and Beautifully Beetrooty also won the 2017 gold award for non-alcaholic drinks.  Chaider also won the 2017 Champions Award making it officially the best hot drink to have entered the awards.

Nothing but the finest Somerset apples are used to make apple juice which tastes of apples, smells of apples and is made of nothing but apples!

Chaider combines two of the finest things in

life - Indian Chai spices and Somerset apple juice.  Whether at home in front of a roaring log fire or  summer evenings around a camp fire, a hot chaider provides the perfect non-alcoholic alternative to mulled wine or cider.

Whether as a cool refreshing summer drink or a hot winter warmer, this is a drink for all seasons.  There is enough ginger to give it a kick but not enough to overpower the taste of the deliciously sweet apple juice.
It sounds wrong but the sharpness of the apples combined with the sweetness of the beetroot creates the perfect detoxifying health drink.  Mums love it because it so healthy and kids love it because it tastes great and is so terribly pink!
